OH MY GOD.

First time poster, first time user... enlightenment and all.

A little while ago I was referred here by a member (hiiiiii). I'd vaguely heard of cups before, but never really considered using them. Well, I did some research and ordered a small Ladycup "Lotos" - the first couple of dry runs were painful and disappointing (despite using lube), so I decided to put it away for a while. I think I'd been rushing it... definitely needed practice. Aunt Flo finally showed up this week, and I figured out the triangle fold works perfectly. Yay for periods being significantly less gross with no risk of TSS! I can't feel a thing, but the real test was using it during training today. I'm a weightlifter/strength athlete and I take my training seriously. Absolutely ZERO leakage or pain, and I could front squat like the hardcore meathead I am.

In conclusion, this community is extremely kickass, and menstrual cups have officially opened my eyes. THANK YOU. <3

I just got the packrat avatar. :) I got this largely to people here's generosity and giveaways, so I've decided to do my own!

Rather than just give away things randomly.. I've decided on a fairly specific theme.

Please comment here if you are collecting anything.. from jelly to berries to balloons. You might get several items, you might get none (if I have nothing of that type) or you might get something you already have.. Hopefully just the first of those options though. ;)

Oh and I have a fairly busy weekend/week.. tomorrow I'll be fencing for 8 hours straight. So it may take me a while to get back to everyone, but don't worry - I will!

It took me forever to reach 2500+ on the Cave Glider game because it was running really slow on my computer. If anyone else has been having this problem, change the bold word in the link to either medium or low. This makes flash run in a lower quality. I put it on medium, and that helped me get the Deployed Parachute.

P.P.S I read the giant AotA cogs post (right now I think it has 83 comments). I know frickinmuck said that the giant post would be final on allowed on Moltara activities, petpets, gears, etc. I know this can be considered a Moltara activity, but I decided to make a new entry since most people wouldn't expect to find game help in the cogs section. If this is not allowed, I'll delete this or move it to the giant AotA post.

My sister posted this morning about what she should be doing with her life. I commented and then decided I wanted to post my comment here.

Yesterday in yoga we did upper body stuff - lots of down dogs, modified chaturanga (with knees on the ground) and attempted up dogs. If you had asked me on Thursday, I would have told my that my mush core was the weakest part of my body, but apparently my upper body and arms are useless as well. I'm having a brutal time keeping my shoulders rolled back in down dog. My modified chaturanga ends in face plant. And my up dog? Well, I can lay there and press the on the ground, but I suspect it's more likely that the earth will give way than my body will rise.

I did my three sun salutations this morning anyway, and by a miracle of timing I just happened to be doing them at sunrise. That was kind of nice. I'll do the core training stuff a little later. I now have three things I'm really working on - the core stuff, the sun salutation, and nauli kriya. Last week, I practiced at least one of those things per day. Plus, I attended my hatha class and yin yoga. I'm satisfied with that for the time being. All told, I suspect I'm doing three to four hours of yoga a week. And it's still a pleasure.

The more I think about it, the more I fantasize about going to India for a month and studying in an Ashram. I'm putting that out their as a tentative goal. I feel there are some other things in my life that will need to happen first. I want to finish school and I don't know what I'm going to want next. I am happy (knock on wood), but I feel like there is a giant question mark looming over my thirties. I like my job and I am still challenged, but where will I be in ten years? Will I pursue further academic work and change careers? Try to move ahead at this company? What about artistic pursuits? Spirtuality? Health? I feel a bit at odds. I'm not raising children, so what should I be doing?

Does anybody have a Black Derby and a Wocky and would you be willing to try the hat on a Wocky for me? I think it might fit the look of my Snow Wocky. But... It's way over 100K in the TP, and I'm not sure it's not HTS, so I'm reluctant to buy it just to try it on and then get stuck with it if I don't like it.

So, anybody? Please?

As it doesn't really fit into my plans for my pets, I'm thinking of selling the Plushie PB I got from dear Jacko awhile ago. Guides and TP have it listed 8-8.5Mil (where do they get the figures from anyway?). Is it HTS? Besides the junk offers I got on the TP, I've gotten 5-6+mil pure offers via NM. Should I hold out for 8mil? I'm not in a hurry for NP.
